NP193E - Epoxy Other Aramids Sheet

17 oz. aramid and "soft glass" fibers are combined to make a fabric that is stronger than pure aramid and less abrasive than glass fabrics. This material is impregnated with a high temperature epoxy resin matrix, which produces a composite with excellent mechanical strength at elevated temperatures and adverse environments.

NP193E is a combination of aramid and glass fibers woven into a fabric, impregnated with a with high temperature epoxy resin. NP193E offers high wear resistance and long life in compressor applications. It can also take the place of asbestos in the vane industry, where it is considered a low-cost alternative to vanes made entirely of an aramid fabric.
