With a non-brominated resin system, the product offers high mechanical strength at temperatures up to 170°C. Properly cured, it will retain 50% of its room temperature flexural strength at elevated temperatures (150°C, after conditioning at 150°C for one hour), E-1/150, T-150. This electro-mechanical grade is suitable for power generator slot insulation.

NP511B

NP511B pre-preg is composed of a high temperature electrical grade of epoxy resin (Tg = 170°C) combined with a woven glass substrate. This grade of pre-preg is not flame retardant. With a non-brominated resin system, the product offers high mechanical strength at temperatures up to 170°C. Properly cured, it will retain half its room temperature flexural strength at elevated temperatures (150°C, after conditioning at 150°C for one hour). It can be produced on any glass style for non-G11 applications. This electrical-mechanical grade is suitable for rotor slot insulation, steel coating, and honeycomb wall panels.

BT45NPM

BT45NPM’s substrate is composed of a hybrid aramid material that is stronger than pure aramid. The material is impregnated with a high temperature phenolic resin system which includes a non-conducting solid lubricant. This solid lubricant facilitates the use of BT45NPM as a bearing material or in other wear applications.

RT193PM

RT193PM’s substrate is composed of a hybrid aramid material that is stronger than pure aramid. The material is impregnated with a high temperature phenolic resin system which includes a non-conducting solid lubricant. This solid lubricant facilitates the use of RT193PM as a bearing material or in other wear applications.

RT507L

RT507L is a silicone fine weave glass fabric leak proof tube which has been discontinued. Please contact 563-277-0074 or technology@norplex-micarta.com to inquire about other materials that may work in your application.

RT507F

RT507F is manufactured using a fine weave glass fabric combined with a silicone resin system. It has excellent electrical properties under humid conditions, superior heat and arc resistance. Typical applications include heating appliance insulation, welding equipment nozzle insulation, heat barriers and specialty bearing applications. The fine weave fabric substrate provides a “finer” finish on the surface of the finished part. RT507F also complies with MIL-I-24768/17, Type GSG and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-7.
